Palo Santo oil is from the wood of a sacred holy tree that grows in South America.
The oil/ resin is taken from a tree that has fallen naturally and not cut down. The wood/ oil is often used in incense to clear negative energy and also in many perfumes.
It is an earthy scent that is very appealing and emotionally uplifting.
